Thanks to George for sending in the news that MSN Games (previously known as the "Zone" to all you old schoolers) is officially ending support for the original Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear games as of June 19, 2006.
Editorial: I remember many good games on the Zone way back when (before rampant cheating), and it was great to have the choice of direct IP, the Zone, GameSpy etc. for online multiplayer instead of the current situation of being limited to Ubi.com ... which IMHO is one of the major reasons that has lead to the early demise of Lockdown PC.
Wow me and my buddy Pointblank were just thinkin of checkin that out again just for a kick :( man I can't believe that blasts we had on mplayer and the zone. We started way back in 98 Rainbow Six - old schoolers. I still have all my patches, add-ons, upgrades and the best of all nato3... Man how time flyes.
