Some lucky staffers over at IGN flew to Paris and got some hands-on quality time with the upcoming PS2-exclusive GR title, Jungle Storm. Their write-up indicates that the Ubisoft Paris studio is making a great game, with special emphasis on solid online play. The article also addresses the "big question" that will inevitably be asked:"The big question most of you have is whether this game is better than SOCOM. In reality, while both games are tactical shooters with military themes and online play, they play very differently. If SOCOM is more run-and-gun, Jungle Storm is about slow, calculated kills." Make sure you check out their media page for a slew of new Jungle Storm gameplay videos! JS appears to be on-track for a Feb 2004 release.
