Good news for GR Xbox fans: looks like Ubisoft plans to release new maps/missions for Island Thunder Xbox consistently on a monthly basis through Xbox Live. So far, they have released two Desert Siege missions: Oil Refinery last month, and Beach (retitled "Beach Invasion") today.
Although Desert Siege will not be coming out as a stand-alone title for the Xbox, with four other confirmed DS maps already done for the Xbox, it's looking like all eight DS missions from the PC version will eventually be available as free downloads! That's a good deal since GR:IT Xbox sells at a lower price point than the original GR, and you'll end up with much more content. |
