Remember when Ubi Soft Montreal released the Black Thorn demo with a "limited" number of weapons, they forgot to remove the data files for the full arsenal. This led to retired mod master/new Red Storm Game Designer Serellan creating a mod to unlock all the weapons found in the full game.
Well, it looks like they have once again left us a few treats in the data files of the Raven Shield demo :-) Thanks to Armed and DWI for sending us word that the "armpatches" folder in the demo has 21 armpatches ready for use! You can view them all at his site here.
Also, thanks to Kiwidoode who posted on the Raven Shield forums that NZ Chainsaw found the "R6Mission.int" file in the demo lists all the single player missions. SPOILER WARNING: A copy of the mission list has been posted at the official forums here. Details of the missions could still change with the final release. |

I saw a server online running "Entry.rsm" for the map and a "pilot" game as opposed to team survival or survival. I've been lookin around in the system directory of RS, and i see some intresting stuff in the RavenShield.ini. For one, that Entry.rsm is the "LocalMap" (whatever that is)... but more interesting are the commented out settings... like ";ViewportManager=XboxDrv.XboxClient"
...XBox Drivers??
There are even more setting in the middle for the XBox...
Something Else:
[IpServer.UdpServerQuery] GameName=ut
ut = Unreal Tournament??
there are a lot of other mentions of "Unreal" throughout the other int files... guess they need to clean it up some more still :)
R6Operatives.int gives you a list of all the different operatives that will be on your team as well... complete with profile...

From the R6WeaponGadget.int file, it looks like they're gonna add a "Muzzle" to our list of optional attatchments... but its not quite finished...
[Muzzle] ID_NAME=Muzzle ID_SHORTNAME=Muzzle ID_Description=Some stuff we got to do sometime
You can also change the output messages to the screen in R6GameInfo.int... like when someone joins the server and such...
The list keeps going... |

Yo transcendent, thanks for the interesting info!
I'm always hoping they will add more new characters to the Rainbow team. Did you see any new names? |

Didn't notice any new ones... but then again, I don't know all the characters in Rogue Spear...
I also figured out how to get all the different game types available. The only problem is that they don't work because the demo didn't come with everything needed to run them. |
