Not sure if this is the forum to add a technical support request, but here goes.

When I boot up my PC, I get the following message pop up:

Verifying DMI Pool Data

Boot from CD:
Boot from CD:

Disk Boot failure, insert system disk & press Enter

Now normally, I would have to reboot the PC, using Ctrl+Alt+Del, then press 'del' to go into the bios. Funily enough, I don't even need to change any settings, just saving and exiting then allows the PC to boot up properly.

Today, I got the same message again, I did the Ctrl+Alt+Del to reboot, but this time I forgot to press 'del' so I missed going into the bios, and I didn't get the above message as I expected, it went straight into Windows!!!!!

Any ideas why? It's starting to do my head in!!

I had a friend with a similar problem and it ended up that his IDE cable had a loose connection to his hard-drive after upgrading his system. You are getting the "Boot from CD" because your BIOS isn't detecting the HD initially on boot-up (assuming your primary boot-up device is set to your HD, and secondary to your CD-ROM as I read in the GR.net forum ;-).

I'd suggest first to open up your case and double check that the data cable to your hard drive is nice and secure.
