A multiplayer demo for The Outfit hit the Xbox Live Marketplace yesterday. Like so many other 360 owners looking for something new to do I decided to grab it...at a whopping 1% every twenty minutes, or roughly 3.6KB/sec. Never mind the frequent interruptions requiring me to check and resume my download every hour or so. I finally finished this morning at 3:45 am when I woke up, resumed, and completed the remaining 11% in two minutes. Yeah, I blame all of you out there.

My questions now are, do any of you blame me for hogging your server bandwidth? And did any of you actually get a hold of the demo and take it for a spin? Let us know what you think in our forums.

I got the demo the night it was released. I don't know how long it took to download but it seemed to be going pretty sleep. I let it run during the night. As far as the actual demo, I haven't got to spend much time with it. I just fired it up for a few minutes. I wished there was a single player demo and not just multiplayer.

I gave it a spin yesterday for about 10 minutes. With no singleplayer and no readme.txt, it took me about that long to figure out what I was doing, how and why...or at least very vague senses of each.

I think it could be a very fun game, but it would have to be something I ran through SP first (and I suspect SP might be better than MP here). Of course, I just picked up a copy of GRAW, so I don't see spending a lot of time with The Outfit demo in the near future. :)
