Ubisoft announced today that Rainbow Six 3 for the Xbox has gone gold and will ship to stores by Oct 28. Ubi states that pre-orders are in the "tens of thousands" so it looks like the Tom Clancy franchise has generated another hit to follow the success of Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon for the Xbox.
Interestingly, there will also be a limited edition of R6-3 Xbox which comes with a custom headset for use with Xbox Live.
