In the last two months since the "unofficial third GR expansion pack" Frostbite has been released, this mod has been well-received with widespread acclaim from GR fans around the world. If you still haven't discovered what a great mod it is, download Frostbite here!
Also, make sure you check out the official Frostbite site which has recently been updated with EL OSO's design notes for each mission. These detailed mission descriptions give an interesting insight into how each level was designed, and provide a walkthrough of sorts if you get stuck.
Some of you may have heard that a v1.2 of Frostbite is in the works, despite v1.1
being as almost as bug-free as you can get. Thanks to EL OSO for giving us some info on it: the changes in store for v1.2 are relatively minor and include a date change for mission 8, adding a missing texture on Wolfsong's MINIMI model, and reformatting the custom audio.
