The June 23, 2003 issue of Time Magazine (featuring Harry Potter on the cover) has just hit newsstands and has a write-up on the current state of U.S. Special Operations Forces. The full version of the article is already online at Time's site here. (Hmm ... why would anyone need to buy the magazine anymore :-)
The article reveals info on recent operations in Iraq, political support for special ops, and some background history. All in all, some good reading for the weekend. Note that you do have to read it soon before it becomes "premium content" for paying subscribers to Time's article archive. |
