We just wanted to remind our Italian visitors that File Retreat is honored to host the largest collection of GR mods translated into Italian. This is thanks to the hard work of Giwex, who has done a fantastic job translating some of the best GR mods around. Here are some of his recent translations:
This is wonderfull! The translation work of Giwex goes largely unheralded, although naturally he is gaining a reputation in the Italian GR community. No small thanks to GR Retreat for their solid support! Thanks Giwex, and thanks CR6.
When I decided to translate the first mod (I remember it was Postcards from Peru`) it was to allow my no-speaking-english cousin to play it and I thought it was nice to release it. My target was to reach 20-30 dowonloads Thanks to CR6 who is hosting my mods at the present time I can count 552 downloads for all the mods I`ve translated with Band of Brothers in 1st ranking.
Giwex, congrats on all the downloads! I occasionally do some translation work myself, so I know how tedious it can be. But it's very rewarding to see so many people enjoying your hard work!
Jack, once again, the great scripting (both story and gameplay) in your latest mod blew me away! I loved the cut-scenes ... I think your camera angles for the chopper insertions were better than RSE's so I had to post the screenshot! :-)
Can you give us a hint if you're working on anything new?
>No small thanks to GR Retreat for their solid support!
It is we who should thank you for taking the time to share your expertise answering questions in our mod forums and elsewhere!
