Ubi Soft has announced that both the U.S. and European versions of the Splinter Cell PC v1.2 patch have been released. Check this link for download locations and a list of all the new tweaks including a benchmark mode!
** UPDATE: (Apr 23) You may want to re-download an updated version of the v1.2 patch released soon after the original announcement. According to 3D Gamers, "Ubi Soft issued a minor update of the US retail version (now called the 1.2b patch) for Splinter Cell released last week. Word is the patch is essentially the same with the addition of a small diagnostic tool that was left out of the first one, and as before this release implements a variety of graphics enhancements and fixes, as well as gameplay tweaks and other bug fixes."
