There's a short blurb in the May 2002 issue (with the Matrix on the cover) of Electronic Gaming Monthly that states Splinter Cell 2 will come out "sooner than you think" in early 2004.
They do not provide any further info to substantiate this claim, but with the huge acclaim and sales this game has had so far, I doubt Ubi will want to wait for a next-gen console to pump out a sequel. I would be happy if they made another game with a slightly improved engine (e.g. more moves for Sam) as long as it has the same great story and level design. |
