Here's something that's great reading for those of you interested in small arms. I recently stumbled upon this incredible thread entitled "Future US Small Arms Inventory (2008-2009)" over at the ARMM forums. Many of you remember that ARMM are the creators of the famous NATO mods for Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear.
ARMM's resident weapons expert, "Q" has compiled a detailed list of what small arms will likely show up in the inventory of the U.S. Army by 2008 (when the first Ghost Recon game takes place). There are a number of weapons in the list that aren't in the GR series yet, so they may be good candidates for Ghost Recon 2 ...
You thought the OICW was powerful? Check out the Objective Crew Served Weapon (OCSW) - the next generation replacement for current heavy and grenade machine guns. |
