This is great news! Yesterday, Ubi Soft proved that it does listen to the fan community. Many fans and fan sites aired their frustrations with the long waits from one congested download site. Ubi Soft actually broke their exclusive distribution agreement with GameSpy and is now allowing multiple download mirrors for the Raven Shield demo. The official site has even listed over 20 mirrors.
We are very impressed that Ubi Soft responded this quickly. No amount of money Ubi would have made from an exclusive download agreement would be worth losing goodwill and loyalty from fans. Ubi's quick action to allow mirrors will go further to create a good reputation with fans. |
