| From the Official Raven Shield Site: the multiplayer demo will be available next Thursday, November 14th! That's less than a week away boys and girls. Strap on your boots for some good old-fashioned Rainbow Six action!!! |

| Me neither. Makes you wonder though if this is the beginning of the end for GR. Majority of the GR fans are converts from the R6 Franchise. Now that its back, will GR fade into the distance? |

There's no doubt that many former R6 fans playing GR will migrate back to R6:3 when it comes out. And likely modders will shift their focus to R6:3 too.
However, GR is far from dead. When creating GR, RSE knew that although it was still in the tactical shooter genre, it had to be substantially different from R6. Therefore, more focus on army operations instead of just CT, long-range firefights, large outdoor environments etc.
I think as long as Ubi Soft staggers the release of GR and R6 products, fans will buy them all!
We already have an idea of upcoming products and their time frames from game mags and online sites that we have posted news about:
GR MP #2: IT - Sep 2002 R6: 3 - Feb 2003 GR MP #3 - May 2003? - This is rumored based on the survey at GR.com, but RSE is known for trying to keep up interest in the franchise with a release every 6 months R6: 3 Mission Pack - likely Sept 2003 - confirmed in Computer Games mag GR2 - Christmas 2003 or early 2004 - confirmed in Computer Games mag and Ubi annual report |
