The RS-R has received an email from a distraught RS player who plays in a clan that plays on the Rumble Ladder. The Rumble has long been the premier place to take your clan for competive R6/RS gaming and I myself have enjoyed their servers. It is run by a bunch of well respected members in the R6/RS community. Frankly we have no clue whether this person is telling the truth or not but he sure is convincing. Basically, he feels that he has been incorrectly identified as a cheater and banned from the ladder. I am sure there are two sides of the story but I found the email sent to Hangfire from the Rumble administration sort of interesting:
| The Rumble Ladder Administration body has certifiable and incontrovertible proof that member(s) of Covert Special Forces Team UO -RID# 1222, cheat, have cheated or currently cheat, by virtue of using a 3rd party cheat program or cheat hack, during Rumble Match(s), 1v1 match(s) or Open games in which Rumble Ladder members are participants. The Rumble Ladder reserves its right to not disclose our sources in determining that Covert Special Forces Team UO - RID# 1222 members have or do cheat. We do so to ensure we maintain a clean a cheat-free ladder. Let there be no doubt in your mind that we know who cheats. We know and it is certifiable and incontrovertible proof. |
Kinda makes you curious what "certifiable and incontrovertible proof" actually is eh? Hopefully the Rumble is in fact 100% sure in their proof. I would hate to see innocent people being wrongly labeled. I will post Hangfire's reply as a comment to this post.
