Your instincts are correct Check our Splinter Cell Retreat "Downloads" link for the last SC1 patch (v1.2b). Since you bought it in Europe, grab the "EMEA" version (Europe, Middle East, Asia) http://files.3dretreat.com/display.asp?catid=118
