That sounds like a pretty smooth rig!!
Are you planning on getting another HD for it?
That Mobo seems nice, how is it running for you? I am personally looking to get a good Mobo without the sound and other stuff. Id rather a card. |

I have some other drives (IDE) from my old system. I am going to use some of those and phase them out gradually with SATA. The motherboard is running really well. Man I can't belive the difference. I was running FS2004 at MINIMUM detail on a Dual 900mhz w/ 1GB of 150mhz memory. The Frame Rate was horrible. I got the 2.8, Turned it up to MAX detail, and it is as smooth as smooth can be..
So, I am really happy w/ it. I don't mind having the onboard sound as I am not really an audiophile, I am guessing its sucking down a few cpu cycles, but then again, I think I would rather have the free pci slot for something else.. I do have a SB Live Value, although I decided not to put that in.. Anyway. All looks like its running well. I had an issue w/ the memory, but New Egg Fixed me right up. |
