Just wondering if any of you PlayStation 2 owners who have SC can tell us a bit about the exclusive "snow" level? I am curious about:

1) When in the story does it occur? Before or after Sam is in Georgia?
2) What are the objectives of the mission?
3) Are there any new cut scenes?

Speaking of PS2 SC missions, did you know that while the PS2 version has the same missions as the Xbox, they SIGNIFICANTLY shortened them? I read that in Gamespot this morning. Each of the levels don't include as much as far as length as the Xbox version. They didn't mention anything about the Gamecube version.

Here's a link to the GameSpot PS2 review here:

>they SIGNIFICANTLY shortened them?

Hmm ... I couldn't find where they said they were significantly shorter. Likely most levels were generally intact but "chopped" at shorter intervals due to accomodate the PS2's lower hardware specs. (The places where the PC and Xbox levels are chopped up for loading off the hard drive are often different too based on the walkthoughs I've seen.)

Here's a quote from the article:

"... the original nine missions have been translated more or less intact, though they've been chopped up into smaller pieces and in some cases truncated, making the game feel a bit disjointed what with its fairly frequent loading times."
