I would like to invite anyone interested to try out another alternative to the big commercial game servers.
This is a private server, but its free and the only requirement is good sportsmanship. we have several games currently supported, and would be more than happy to expand our games list if you have a game you would like to play here. the server will support any DirectIP or Directplay multiplayer game.
Some of the features available to clans/groups, not currently offered on most commercial servers are:
private/passworded chat/meeting lobby
ad free hosting for your group's homepage
free email addresses for community members
named channels on our roger wilco basestation
feel free to come look around www.boa-arena.com
We put this up, because we were tired of always being at the mercy of the big commercial outfits as to game availability, and also the lack of easy to use, uncluttered chat areas built into the server.
This has only been up for a very short time, so don't be suprised if you log on and don't find anybody on. This is the first public advertising of it, and we are hoping to get some groups/individuals on to begin building a gaming community here.
any questions/comments, please send to me via the support link on the mainpage.
