If you have been thinking about buying a DVD burner but weren't sure what to get and were afraid of how much it would cost, I recommend researching the following item. The first DVD format was DVD-R/DVD-RW but a newer format has recently come out that claims to be compatible on a larger range of consumer DVD players although the media is more expensive right now, DVD+R/DVD+RW. There are a few DVD+R burners out there but Sony has a $50 rebate if you buy theirs before 9/30/02. Mwave has a great price on the Sony DRU120A for $399. With the $50 rebate you can get one of the latest DVD burners for only $350. I just thought I would pass on the word of this good deal. |
