Two of the big gaming sites got their hands on Lockdown PC this past week:Kimi from 1Up.com has posted some fantastic screenshots and her impressions of an early build of R6L PC. Her Thursday blog entry reveals classic R6 maps like Mint, Bunkers, and 747 will be showing up in multiplayer. Her Friday entry shows some of the great graphics in R6L and ... helmets!GameSpot has published an in-depth preview of R6L including a load of new screenshots and 3 gameplay videos. Most interesting is this quote:"... the good news is that this is a much more serious game than the console versions--so much so that you have to wonder why Ubisoft and Red Storm are keeping the name exactly the same, as this will undoubtedly sow some consumer confusion. It appears that Red Storm remembers its roots, and the PC version of Lockdown is a challenging game in the PC Rainbow Six vein." |
