For being a 6 year-old game, StarCraft still is a lot of fun and has an amazing amount of depth. However, with no news of a sequel anytime soon, it's good to see that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is stepping in to fill the void. This new game is developed by Relic, who made an outstanding debut with Homeworld, but have not got as much critical acclaim for their later efforts, Impossible Creatures and Homeworld 2.
IGN.PC has a good preview comparing Warhammer 40K to Starcraft, and GameSpy has an interview with the dev team that gives us a good taste of what's in the game. |
