The United States Army marked their 229th birthday yesterday by announcing a new uniform for all their soldiers. The new Army Combat Uniform (ACU) will be the first major uniform change for the U.S. Army since the Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) in 1981.
The ACU has a "digital camoflage" pattern with green and sandy brown colors and this single design will replace both the Army's green woodland BDU and Desert Combat Uniform (DCU). The plan is to implement the new uniform across the whole Army by Dec 2007.
With all the upgrades planned for GR2, it will be interesting to see if Red Storm decides to include the new uniforms for the Ghosts. |
