We are posting the first part of our Ghost Recon 2 E3 coverage today! Anubis has done an outstanding job writing up his impressions of the GR2 demo after spending lots of quality hands-on time with it. His report has lots of great pictures of the GR2 booth and the Red Storm staff that were on hand to demo the game.
GR2 Game Designer Christian Allen
Finally, his report comes with a fantastic video of the GR2 demo with Red Storm's Christian "Serellan" Allen providing a running commentary. It's like watching a DVD movie with the director's comments ;-) The 11 minute video is available in two sizes:Large 640x480 .wmv for broadband (72 MB)Small 320x480 .wmv for dial-up (5 MB)
Check back in the near future for the second part of our coverage that includes another video, more photos, and an interview with GR2 Designer Christian Allen! |

Thanks to Anubis and 3dRetreat for this report and video material.
It will help us players to get some touch of game while waiting for demo version of GR2 and the "final true".

I would also like to personally recognize Cr6 and his superb abilities to take a whole bunch of minced meat that i threw at him and making it something very worthwhile to read.

Hey Anubis, you did all the hard work getting to E3 and putting up with a lot of hassles to get the info (getting time off work, car rentals, booking hotels, line-ups, other expenses) so we really appreciate your time and effort!
What I really want to get across from all the material you collected is to give fans who can't get into E3 an idea of what it was like to "be there."
Your report is a real multimedia experience: you have to read the report, look at the photos, and watch and listen to the video to get the full picture of what GR2 was like at E3!
I also think having Christian (Serellan) Allen's commentary adds much more depth to the demo than the E3 demo that is currently available on the official GR2 site. If you just watched the demo without his comments, you wouldn't necessarily notice half the cool new gameplay details that RSE has carefully taken the time to implement. |
