April 29, 2004 - Ubisoft announced today their sales figures for the 2003/2004 fiscal year. According to a recent press release, the company has increased annual earnings up to $433 million. This rather chunky number shows a 22.5% growth over last year. Part of Ubisoft's winning strategy was its focus on 8 major "hit" titles, which together sold in excess of 10 million units.

North America made 47% of overall company sales while Europe made up 49%. The company's biggest seller was Prince of Persia The Sands of Time, which sold 2.4 million copies. In second place came Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3, which sold 2.2 million copies. And Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell came in third with 1.7 million copies.
