Ubisoft has announced that they haven't forgotten the console with the largest market-share ... R6-3 is coming to the PlayStation 2! Check out a full preview at GameSpy here. As with Splinter Cell, looks like they saved the best for last: the Ubisoft Shanghai team is once again doing the PS2 port and is adding several features not found in the PC and Xbox versions:
  • An exclusive 15th bonus level (Triest)
  • 4 vs. 4 online play with the Network Adaptor
  • 2-player co-op split-screen for offline players
  • Enemies can grab civilians as human shields
  • True to the spirit of the olden R6 games, just a reticle with no weapon view (Actually this is to keep a decent 30 fps :-)
