Ubi Soft has sent us word that Island Thunder Xbox went gold on July 30th and will be available in stores August 5th! The most interesting news in their press release is that besides the eight tropical environment missions found on the disc, there are an additional five desert missions which are downloadable via Xbox Live! So for those console fans lamenting that Desert Siege only showed up on the PS2, it looks like Xbox gamers will finally get a taste of desert combat.
We're curious which Desert Siege missions made it onto the Xbox, so any readers who complete the downloadable missions, please let us know!
