Ubi Soft has announced that R6-3 will be exclusive for the Xbox in 2003. However, we're guessing there's a good chance that just like what Ubi did with Splinter Cell, R6-3 will be ported to the PS2 and GameCube likely in 2004.
Ubi Soft PR has also been stressing that R6-3 for the consoles will be a totally different animal than Raven Shield for the PC. This is not a new approach, as the original Rainbow Six port for the PlayStation 1 differed vastly from the PC version. The only time PC versions of Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear were faithfully ported was for Sega's long-lost Dreamcast console! |
