JCal at HomeLAN Fed has posted a great interview with Athena Shield dev team member, Nicola Aitoro. Here's a summary of some of the main info from the interview:
The single player campaign will have 8 new levels located in Milan and Palermo (Italy), Monte Carlo (Monaco), Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Athens (Greece).
The story continues from where Raven Shield left off: one of the chemical weapons is still missing after the events of RvS, and Team Rainbow has to stop Gutierrez from using it!
All maps are playable in 13 gameplay modes, with 4 new multiplayer modes and 1 new single player custom mission mode.
A new mission single player objective deals with a timed bomb.
7 new weapons revealed: Assault - G3KA4; Assault - OTs-14 Groza; Light Machine Gun GM240G; Pistol 93R; Sniper SL8-2; Sub Spectre M4; Shotgun M4 Super 90.
NPC civilians and policemen have been added to some levels. |
