Using Splinter Cell as a benchmark for PCs is fast becoming a standard for several of the top hardware sites. This is not surprising as the incredible graphics in SC at high resolutions are still taxing even cutting-edge PC systems.

One of the best sites to find out about the latest in 3D graphics technology is Beyond3D, and they recently started hosting a special section where game developers could post their opinions and thoughts. We were happy to see that Dany Lepage, Lead 3D Programmer for Splinter Cell, has his own section here. You can see Dany's comments on the best way to properly use SC as a benchmark here, and check out Beyond3D's custom SC benchmark here.
