With Raven Shield modding taking the limelight lately, we wanted to remind folks here that there are several outstanding GR mods still in the works. Here are three that we're looking forward to:
Thanks to Japanese mod master Nishi for letting us know his "Battle of Mogadishu" map is 50% complete and will be released with v3.0 of his well-known NMM Weapon Pack. Check out more screenshos here at NMM Gun Works.
Being a fellow Canuck, another mod I'm particularly looking forward to is BajaBravo's Canadian Operatives 2.0. As a former officer in the Canadian military, it's not suprising that BajaBravo is taking the time to make sure every last painstaking detail is accurate and realistic as possible for this masterpiece. Find out more about progress on the mod at his site here.
Finally, since Red Storm hasn't made an expansion pack set in the Arctic yet, a group of modders including Neutron, BajaBravo, and El_Oso (of GR Dummies tutorial series fame) have stepped up to create a mod set in a snow environment called "Frostbite". Check out the full details of this mod at its official site here.
