I just noticed in the newspaper that ABC is broadcasting a six-episode series called "Profiles From the Front Line" which features U.S. Special Forces currently operating in Central Asia. Interestingly, the show has full support of the Pentagon and Department of Defense. The series premiere is this Thursday, Feb 27. Here's a synopsis:
This new hour-long reality series which transports viewers to actual battlefields in Central Asia and follows the elite U.S. Special Operations forces as they apprehend possible terrorists, profiling the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces as they face real-life situations from the home front to the war front.

So did anyone see the first episode? It was pretty good I thought.

One interesting thing that came up in the show is how the SF guys don't have to adhere to strict "uniforms" like the troopers in the 82nd Airborne do.

So if Ghost Recon 2 is to be more realistic, maybe they should show the Ghosts all wearing different outfits and growing beards ;-)
