Here's some interesting news from the recent Spring 2003 Intel Developer Forum. Anandtech has posted a slide from one of the presentations that outlines Intel's concept for the PC in 2004 which will have the following technologies:PCI Express to replace current PCI slotsPCI Express Graphics (the same PCI Express bus with a bandwidth likely equivalent to AGP 16x!) DDR2 memoryAzalia next-generation audio spec to replace the aging AC'97 onboard audioThe first public mention of Intel's Tejas processor, which will be introduced on the 90-nm process, feature an enhanced version of the hyper-threading technology, include new instructions, an improved level-1 cache, and possibly have a larger L2 cache and top out over 5GHz with a 1.2GHz FSB.
