| I just picked up a Radeon 9500 Pro and it runs rock solid with the recent DX9 release and Catalyst 3.0 drivers. Check out this great interview with the head of ATI's Catalyst driver team, which is reassuring to those of us buying ATI products these days. My first 2D/3D graphics cards ever were ATI, but then I switched to 3dfx, and then nVidia which left ATI in the dust for years. Now ATI has come around and is on top. Their hardware has been fine all along, but with poor and unreliable driver support. With their new strong commitment to solid drivers, they will be a force to be reckoned with. |
