MLP03 Stalkyard will be available for download on Monday, June 10th. There will be two seperate downloads available, one for "Ghost Recon" and another for "The Sum of All Fears".

There are differences in the actual maps files between the two so if you also have SOAF make sure to download the SOAF version as well. Climbing is supported in SOAF to some extent so many of the crate stacks, especially the ones in the outside areas of the map can be climbed. I've made some minor changes to the map files for the SOAF versions of Stalkyard to maximize climbing in these areas.

Since the map is so small I've found it's a good idea to not use random inserts for some game types. This is especially the case where SAR is concerned. With random inserts off a two team game will start the furthest apart making SAR somewhat workable. The central zone for the map is up on top of the tallest crate stack in the warehouse. This means that the hostages will have to be pushed off the top of the crate stack and sent falling to the ground. You can then either run down and take them back to your base or just have someone below you as you are shoving them off ready to retrieve them. It's pretty funny actually. Guess we should call it "Push & Rescue" instead of "Search & Rescue". :-P

I plan on submitting the mods to many of the big fan sites, including this one so it should be easy to find for download. For a sneak peek at MLP03 Stalkyard click here.

I started one thread when I put up the screenshot gallery for my mod and have contained any an all updates to that one thread. This is the only other thread I have posted concerning the mod and it is just to announce the release of the mod on Monday. What the heck are you talking about? Stop advertising my mod? If you are not interested in the progress I've been making on the mod or the announcement of it's official release date then don't bother reading my posts. Yeah, all two of them. I don't make any money for doing these maps and in fact, if no one wants to download them I could really care less. I don't do it for the recognition. I enjoy working with 3d Studio Max and creating maps for these games. That is reward enough. As I see it, I'm just doing my part to contribute to the modding community. Keeping news of my Stalkyard map to one single thread and then posting one new thread right before the release of my mod is not spamming or advertising. Give me a freakin break.

Low Profile is VERY WELCOME to advertise his mods in our 3dR forums for free anytime, and that goes for any other mod maker. As you can tell, GR-R and RS-R don't post about mods much in the news section, so all the better mod makers post about them in here.

I personally don't post about mods much unless I've actually had the time to try them out, and time is one thing I don't have enough of these days ;-)
