When I try to join a game in multiplayer Ghost Recon launches, and then gives me the following error:

Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application

CD-ROM is in the drive, CD-ROM is NOT damaged or scratched, CD-ROM is NOT a copy.

This does not come up for Single Player. Only when trying to launch an online game.

System specs:

AMD Athlon 1.4 Ghz
512 Megs PC133 RAM
VisionTek GeForce 3 64 Megs DDR RAM
Hercules MuseXL Sound
Abit KT7A Motherboard (VIA Chipset latest 4-in-1s)
Windows XP Pro
Latest Ghost Recon Patch

Any ideas?

i had the same problem with a Creative 52x CDROM

solution was to throw the POS out
