Well, here's some trivia for ya. I just repartitioned and reformatted my hard drive before doing a clean install of WinXP today. I decided to load up all six installments of the R6 series onto one of the partitions, and guess how much HD space it took up? (These are full installs without any mods, no Ubi.com, and only the UO v2.52 patch installed.)
The Red Storm Entertainment folder had:
29,966 files in 497 folders
Size on disk was 1.77GB (of which the original R6/EW took up about 500MB)
Now on to reinstalling Ghost Recon which needs 955MB ...

Yep that RSE folder is growing and growing. Soon DS then in few months RS and maybe in a year GR2. I think I should go and start spaming for DS.

RSE is notorious for leaving in files that aren't needed. Its no wonder their games take up so much space when they shouldn't have to.
