Let me start off by saying this is total speculation at this point and I have received no confirmation on what I am about to post. Nevertheless, it seems very credible. The following news could change the Rainbow series in a significant way.

In the latest Official Xbox Magazine, page 47, is a picture of three guys in green urban gear holding MP5s and crouched on their knees covering different directions in what looks like an underground parking lot. The following blurb is what it says:

FUTURE BLOCKBUSTER
RAINBOW SIX III

Publisher: Ubi Soft
Developer: Red Storm
Release Date: Q4 2002

Red Storm revolutionized the world of first-person shooters by adding teamplay and the real-world danger of one-shot kills. Now the series returns, powered by the awesome Unreal 2 engine. You know that this is going to be incredible when you play it using the Xbox Communicator.

It is safe to assume that this is solid information for the Xbox version of Rainbow Six III and in fact confirmation that RSE will be returning to the series. The relation to a PC version of the same title is unknown at this point but we can only speculate the Unreal 2 engine will be used as well. This holds true to Cynical Saint's earlier suspicion on RSE using that particular engine. I am not sure how I feel about this. The Ghost Recon engine was a splendid enhancement visually and I love the game but GR has still had many negatives that other games don't suffer from. The Unreal 2 engine could solve a lot of the problems such as easy mod editing tools, full featured dedicated servers, easy game play lobbying, and still have splendid graphics. I am curious as to this potential engine change but I am not immediately opposed to it. My first concern is how the movement will feel on the engine. Post your thoughts! Thanks Eagle.

The follwing taken from here.

To run Unreal Tournament, you must have:

A 200 MHz Pentium class computer
Windows 95, 98, 2000, or NT
32MB of RAM
A PCI local bus video card.
A Windows Compatible Sound Card
A CD-ROM drive
120 megabytes of free hard drive space

Although the game will run with the system mentioned above, its performance may suffer under certain conditions. A system that has the following devices will run the game well under most conditions:

A 233Mhz Pentium II processor
64MB of RAM
A 3dfx Voodoo II or Riva TNT 3D card
450 megabytes of free hard drive space

For peak performance under all conditions, the following components are suggested as a minimum:

A Pentium II 266 or faster processor
128MB of RAM
A 3dfx Voodoo 3 or Riva TNT2 video card
