I noticed at agr-s.com that Creative is sponsoring a Black Thorn contest to promote their new Sound Blaster Audigy line. I just bought a SB Audigy Gamer with Creative's Inspire 5.1 5300 speakers last week, and I can testify that this setup sounds AWESOME.
Rogue Spear used EAX 2.0 (see an interview about this here) and was one of the best-sounding games on the SB Live! cards. It's no small wonder why Creative chose Black Thorn to promote their new card.
