This is good news for fans of Red Storm games, as no earnings means no more games :-) Here's a snip from the press release:PARIS, FRANCE (June 21, 2001) Ubi Soft Entertainment, an international developer and publisher of interactive games, surpassed its predicted sales growth of 25% for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2001. In fact, the Ubi Soft® group reports net consolidated sales of $ 236 million (259.8 million euros) up 39.4% over the previous year. This growth is all the more impressive given that internal growth accounts for 13.5% of this figure, while, last year, the video games world market declined by nearly 5%.
In the fickle world of electronic entertainment, it looks like Ubi Soft is standing on pretty firm financial ground. Ubi Soft has some really great triple-A titles up its sleeve (they just released Myst III which will likely be in many Top 10 lists for a year or more ;-) They are also counting on Ghost Recon to be a strong title for them.
